Unique Kicks it up a Notch

When the phone notification system that a South Carolina regional library was using failed, Unique’s MessageBee implementation team was there to save the day.

While Aiken-Bamberg-Barnwell-Edgefield (ABBE) Regional Library was due to start MessageBee email notifications service in September, Unique had to step up when their current phone system failed. Rushing in a month ahead of schedule, the Unique team was able to minimize downtime by implementing their MessageBee email notifications in record time. The transition from phone to email-based notifications was made as quickly and smoothly as possible by the professional and dedicated MessageBee team at Unique.

Here is what Library Director Mary Jo Dawson had to say about the transition:

“When our unsupported phone notification system unexpectedly died on us, the team at Unique was able to get MessageBee up and running for our library system an entire month before our scheduled start date. This quick turnaround time meant minimal disruptions for our patrons and staff. We now have a more simplified and modernized way to connect with our patrons thanks to their great teamwork and communication.”

Mary Jo Dawson – ABBE Regional Library System Director

Not only did Unique step in to keep things flowing for the ABBE Regional Library System, they also upgraded the notification system from an antiquated phone-based system to sleek email-based notifications. The four location library system will now be able to integrate their ILS with MessageBee-powered transactional messages and list communications.
