Indiana Evergreen Consortium adds MessageBee Voice Consortium-wide

The statewide system will begin sending automated voice notifications to patrons this week

Unique Management Services is proud to announce the launch of MessageBee Phone for Indiana Evergreen Library Consortium.  The system has successfully been using MessageBee for SMS notifications since June, and patrons will now receive phone-based updates on their library transactions.

Indiana Evergreen is a growing consortium of over 130 public, school and institutional libraries and library systems located throughout Indiana that use the Evergreen ILS. Founded in 2007, the Indiana Evergreen Consortium catalogue has almost 8 million items and serves approximately 1.5 million Indiana residents.

MessageBee is a powerful and customizable messaging tool that offers numerous features, making it an essential asset for libraries looking to enhance their communication strategies. Easily understandable, clear voicemails made MessageBee a great choice for the Midwest library consortium.

Key features of MessageBee include:

  • SaaS Phone service: Our Phone notifications require no library-based equipment. We handle the back end, so libraries can focus on their patrons.
  • Multi-Language ability: clients can opt to send messages in English or Spanish, with preference automatically pulled from the patron database, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Customizable notifications: Either voice recordings or automatically generated messages offer clear voicemail messages.
