The Oregon library system adds next-generation SMS messaging, email, and phone notifications to existing Material Recovery subscription
Unique Library is proud to announce the addition of a full suite of MessageBee patron engagement platform for Corvallis-Benton County Public Library (CBCPL) this week. Patrons will receive 10-DLC compliant SMS notifications, attractive transactional and promotional newsletter-style emails, as well as access to phone notifications in both English and Spanish.
Corvallis-Benton County Public Library is a four-location system serving nearly 100,000 residents in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon. The system also uses KOHA, which integrates well with Unique’s MessageBee interface. The library was founded in 1895 and is regularly recognized as a top public library in the United States.
MessageBee is a powerful and customizable messaging tool that offers numerous features, making it an essential asset for libraries looking to enhance their communication strategies. Easily understandable notifications across all platforms makes MessageBee a great addition.
Key features of MessageBee include:
- Engaging emails: Customizable templates and an intuitive drag-and-drop email designer makes anyone an email-sending pro.
- Superior Deliverability: Unique is on the cutting edge of SMS-based notifications. Our 10-DLC compliant notifications are an upgrade on traditional email-to-SMS in deliverability and clarity.
- Multiple languages via phone: MessageBee phone supports English and Spanish voice notifications for patrons that prefer a pre-recorded phone call. Either text-to-speech or a voice recording keeps patrons abreast of their transactions.
