Nine New Features That Make the MessageBee Editor More Powerful Than Ever

At Unique, we’re always working to enhance MessageBee, our comprehensive communication platform for libraries. Whether it’s improving functionality, adding new tools, or making existing features even better, we’re committed to making MessageBee the best patron communication tool on the market.

Here’s a look at the latest updates and features that are transforming MessageBee into an even more powerful resource.

Working With Charts

Time-of-Day and Blackout Day Configuration

Send and blackout dates and times

With the addition of time-of-day and blackout day configuration, libraries have greater control over when communications are sent. Time-of-day configuration allows libraries to select when their communications are sent. Want patrons to have updates in their inbox first-thing in the morning? You can control that from MessageBee.

When is the best time to send emails? Check out our blog post for the optimum open rate.

On top of this timing tool, we have created a new blackout date feature. This new setting will prevent your library from sending any automated notifications on specified days.

Publish Campaigns and Communications Online

Publish emails

Sharing your library’s marketing messages just got easier with the new campaign and communication publishing feature. Here’s what it can do:

  • Public URLs for Marketing Communications: Generate unique URLs for individual communications, allowing you to easily share them with your audience.
  • Dedicated Campaign Pages: Publish all communications within a campaign to a dedicated URL, creating a hub for your library’s marketing efforts.

These features make it simple to embed past campaigns or communications on your library’s website, ensuring patrons can revisit key messages whenever they need.

Universal Elements for Marketing Emails

Universal elements

We’re thrilled to introduce Universal Elements, a game-changing tool for library marketing teams that allows you to create reusable content blocks in the email editor. The tool allows you to combine any number of elements (like images, menus, text blocks, etc.) in one block, and then save the block to reuse on future emails.

  • Save Time: Build blocks for common elements like headers, footers, or social media bars and reuse them across multiple templates.
  • Maintain Consistency: Ensure cohesive branding and functionality across all your email communications.
  • Dynamic Updates: Make changes to a Universal Block once, and have them automatically applied to every email template where the block is used.

This feature makes designing professional, polished emails quicker and easier than ever before.
